* My husband and I have never been at transborder clinics. Will your agency able to assist us in booking the hotel and also if it’s possible to meet at the airport?

Our Centre is able to provide a whole range of services to organize your visit our clinics. We will meet you at the airport, drive to the hotel in which we have already booked the room for you. You can also have a driver every time you need him, translator and a tour guide. Don’t worry, our manager will help you to quickly get used to the city.

* How many times do we need to come to clinic during the surrogate program? For how long do we have to stay there during each visit?

You will need to come to clinic at least 2 times: the first time at the beginning of the program for doing all the medical examinations, obtaining the reproductive material, signing legal documents, etc. And the second time right before the childbirth. However, all of the programs are unique, so you will need to negotiate everything with our agency managers and doctors.

* Today on the Internet you can find ads of young women who are willing to become a surrogate mother. The ads stated that women are already examined, healthy and agree on a relatively small amount of compensation - 3-5 thousand dollars. How real this amount is and is there a danger of fraud?

If you're in search of a surrogate mother on the Internet, the risk that you may become a victim of fraud is really high. Too often women make fake certificates of their health status (using the old or the wrong medical records). There are fraudsters who ask to send the money for medical examination and then just disappear. There were also cases when a surrogate mother after pregnancy has tried to increase the amount of compensation, blackmailing potential parents with the intentional termination of pregnancy. The amount of 3-5 thousand dollars compensation is unreal. About this sum you can only speak in India. Be careful negotiating with surrogate mothers who agree to such amount of compensation.

* How do you check the physical and mental health of potential surrogate mothers?

Each of the candidates fills out the questionnaire, from which we get the primary information about this woman. After the initial screening, we invite women to our office for a personal interview (or such interviews may be conducted by our representative in the regions). During the interview we clarify all the important questions about the identity of the candidates. Women are tested for attentiveness, adequacy of the information perception, erudition, etc. We check the psychological stability of the candidates and get an understanding of their mission in the program. After that, selected female candidates are examined in the clinic and assigned to pass the tests. Based on the results obtained and the test scores we make a decision on signing the agreement and the inclusion of women in our database of surrogate mothers.

* Will surrogate mother be entitled to take care of our child after his birth, and in particular to breastfeed?

Definitely no. However, there are cases where the biological parents are asking a surrogate mother to take care of their child for some period after birth, such as breastfeeding.

* Will a surrogate mother have any rights, in particular to visit of our child?

No. After the registration of the child in the body of state registration of civil status acts surrogate mother has no longer any relation to the child, both legally and factually. You may not have any contact with her anymore, if you would like so.

* I would like to know the exact cost of surrogacy program in your Centre, and how it will be carried out in all the stages.

The cost of the program depends on many factors, in particular the participation of the donor, the amount of compensation to a surrogate mother, etc. In addition, we have different price lists for citizens of different countries. Only after finding out all the details our manager can calculate the price of the selected program. 

* What is the payment procedure? Is it possible to split the sum into parts and to pay for each stage of the program separately?

In most cases, the payment is carried out in stages. However, some customers conveniently pay the full amount at once as by doing so they get an additional discount.

* How much time do you need for choosing a donor and a surrogate mother? How this procedure is being conducted?

Our agency has its own database of donors and surrogate mothers, and a database is quite extensive. Selection is an individual matter, so the clients are up to decide how much time they need to make the final choice. We get the selection criteria from the client, then select appropriate profiles and provide them to the client. Usually it is about 3 candidates, and then the client chooses two of them, who we will organize a meeting with. Therefore, the procedure may take from a couple of days to a couple of weeks.

* How to make sure that the surrogate mother does not drink, does not take drugs, does not have problems with the law, and lives in a healthy environment?

This is checked at the stage of selection and inclusion of potential surrogate mother in the database of our agency. However, if necessary, we can provide a private detective service for the inspection of potential surrogate mother. This procedure is paid.

* How do you control the health and behavior of a surrogate mother?

Health monitoring process involves several people: the doctor of the clinic who conducts the program, the doctor of female who watches the pregnancy consultation and a supervisor (an agent) of our agency. Our agent supervises the behavior and compliance of surrogate mother with the contract, which she signed with future parents. We offer several options for such supervision (see. Page "Coordination and control").

* What are the requirements for surrogate mothers at the Centre?

Surrogate mother must have at least one own healthy child, be aged between 18 and 36 years old, mentally and physically healthy, have no problems with previous pregnancy and no childbirth complications. A potential candidate must pass a full medical examination in order to determine her possibility of participation in the surrogacy program. In addition, in our agency we recommend to conduct screening in order to determine the psychological and moral qualities.

* What is the embryo transfer process like for a gestational surrogate?

First, when dealing with IVF, the surrogate mother and/or egg donor start taking birth control pills in order to coordinate a cycle. After the beginning of the period surrogate mother starts the process of building a "triple pattern" uterine lining in preparation for the embryo transfer by taking pills, or injections that will supplement her with estrogen.

Later the surrogate mother will switch a progesterone supplement. During cycling surrogate mothers are "suppressed" and do not ovulate, and as a consequence their body will not produce the normal amount of progesterone. That’s why additional progesterone is needed until the surrogate mother's natural progesterone is generated, as it helps to maintain a pregnancy if the transfer is successful.

They are mostly coming in the form of injections or vaginal creams/capsules few days before the embryo transfer.

The actual embryo transfer procedure isn’t complicated – it takes only a few minutes and painless. The reproductive endocrinologist inserts a speculum into the vagina. Next, he inserts a thin catheter through the cervix and into the uterus that transfers the embryos through the catheter into the uterus. When the embryos are placed the catheter is removed and an embryologist checks if all embryos were transferred. The last being removed is speculum, and everything that the surrogate mother will have to do is to rest for one hour in the clinic, afterward she will be free. Though, sometimes It is common for surrogate mothers are prescribed to 24 hours of strict bedrest for 1-3 days.

10-14 days after the embryo transfer surrogate mother will need to undergo a pregnancy blood test. If the test confirms the pregnancy, she will be needed to take medications for another 10-14 weeks.
