The Australian health research group conducted a questionnaire with 8000 men from 16 to 59 years old. The results show that men who smoked 20 or more cigarettes per day are more likely to suffer from impotence. Problems with an erection for more than 1 month were observed had one of ten men. Other risk factors that led to impotence were age and the diseases of the cardiovascular system. Although a moderate drinking of alcohol significantly reduces this risk. (British Medical Journal)
